Ways to Get Involved
Amazing Strays Rescue would not be where we are without the help of amazing volunteers. We rely on them in numerous ways to help work towards our mission. We do not have a shelter or facility at this time – all of our rescue dogs are fostered in private homes. Despite not having a facility, there are many ways in which you can help.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete a Volunteer Application. If you have experience volunteering for another dog rescue organization or would like to take on a volunteer leadership position, we have volunteer/leadership positions available.

Adoption Screener
After completing training, these individuals assist in vetting applications and applicants to ensure the best fit possible for a dog. Various levels of commitment required.

Photography
Pictures tell a million words and great pictures help to capture a dog's personality. It can also help generate interest in a potential pup via social media and adoption sites.

Data Entry
ASR has a variety of data entry from medical records, intake paperwork, etc. where we can always use a hand inputting into the system.
2.
Transport
The pups at ASR have a variety of routine and ongoing medical appointments. We appreciate any volunteer who can pick up/drop off dogs to the vet!

Foster
One of the most vital roles in the rescue are fosters. They provide a safe home for our pups to land and learn how to love the good life! See Foster Form for info.

Event Volunteer
During events, volunteers are a vital resources to handle dogs, answer questions, and provide enthusiasm about the pups in our program!
