After his recovery time he was brought to San Diego in search of his forever home! She came to us severely over weight at 67 lbs but has continued her weight loss journey and with every walk and beach visit continues to make progress. Her ideal and healthy weight would be around 50 lbs. Tootsie is around 7 years old and is a mellow girl.

This sweetheart adores everyone—people, cats, dogs, and even birds. She loves the water and walks beautifully on a leash. She loves running the beach and has mastered her recall. While she isn’t a glutton when it comes to food, she does have a tendency to beg for human snacks. She’s house trained and knows how to sit. From the “urgent” list to a life of love—Chiquito has officially left the building! Just days ago, this 11-month-old, 17 lb soul was sitting in a high-kill shelter, surrendered by his owners and facing a deadline he didn’t understand. He was lost, confused, and completely shut down. The shelter environment had stolen his spark, leaving behind a fearful dog who had given up hope.

But look at him now. In just a short time in a patient foster home, Chiquito is a completely different dog. The fear is melting away, and his true personality is finally starting to shine.

This charming boy was discovered on the roadside during our rescue team’s journey to Oklahoma, where he was found patiently waiting for a helping hand. Dusty is a cattle dog mix with a unique “old soul” personality; while he has the heart of a young pup, he possesses a naturally mellow and grounded temperament that is rare for his age. Dusty is crate, leash, and house trained. He can be destructive if left out of his crate unsupervised (that’s the puppy in him) 🤣

This charming boy was discovered on the roadside during our rescue team’s journey to Oklahoma, where he was found patiently waiting for a helping hand. Dusty is a cattle dog mix with a unique “old soul” personality; while he has the heart of a young pup, he possesses a naturally mellow and grounded temperament that is rare for his age. Dusty is crate, leash, and house trained. He can be destructive if left out of his crate unsupervised (that’s the puppy in him) 🤣

Please help us bring Max to San Diego! This sweet boy is currently in a less-than-ideal foster situation in Mexico, where he is exposed to harsh conditions and urgently needs medical attention. At around 6 years old and weighing around 45-50 lbs, Max has been diagnosed with TVT, which requires chemotherapy treatment.

Sadly it was also learned that he is experiencing organ failure and is failing to gain weight, we need to get him here soon or he could slowly die in his condition.

We are seeking a foster home where he can recover and regain his health, ideally without other pets to prevent any risk of exposure. TVT is highly treatable, and with the right care, Max can look forward to a happy, normal life. Your support can make a significant difference for him!

Sasha has gotten along with dogs and cats (with a few corrections to be gentle).
